Cathodic protection

Corrosion protection is necessary to ensure your USTs are protected from the threat of rusting, corroding or oxidizing. All underground metal components of your UST system are required to be protected from corrosion. There are 2 types of corrosion protection: sacrificial and impressed current. Our technicians are specially trained to properly test and maintain your cathodic protection system. The state requires cathodic protection testing at installation, three to six months after installation, and every 3 years thereafter.
